Made of Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber, through special treatment process, very strong but very light, an ideal synthetic rope for the heavy shipping industry. The strength is higher than the steel wire rope of the same size but the weight is only about 1/7 of the steel wire rope.
